Another Time - Another Place...

All things have a beginning...all things have an ending...A Time and a Place has ended...not died,-only ended. The years there were so wonderful and full of love and joy...full of companionship and comfort,-shared by two people who were more like one...who were so together that a place to start with either was a lesson in confusion...what will he think?...what will she think?...what effect will this have on the one...on the other...
I'm going to town...come go with me...No, I don't feel like it...so we didn't go...neither of us...

There is love and things that are sometimes hard to understand. To love is not necessarily to be in love. A man was married for thirty eight years...he loved his wife for thirty years; he was in love with her for eight years...actually, seven years. There is another year in there somewhere. It's all right.
For thirty years they loved each other and worked and played together and shared a life of living. For many of those years both worked at paying jobs. Then he worked at a paying job and she was a housekeeper. (a non-paying job)
Then, a funny thing happened on the way to retirement; they accidentally stumbled onto something they both thoroughly enjoyed; something they would share for seven years,-to do together almost every day. After living with this woman for over thirty years, you'd think this guy would know her pretty well,- yeah, think again. He is the singer in the family. 'oops' Was the singer...now, they are the singer...
Purely by accident, at a jam session, she was heard to sing along with him, he on the bandstand and she n the audience. She was a very shy person and had to be coached to sing. What a miracle occurred then. She not only had a wonderfully smooth and pleasant voice, but she was very good as a singer.
As the saying goes; the rest is history. Seven years of pleasure passed. Her voice was as a nightingale, beautiful and lilting. And she knew many songs, mostly older pop songs. They began to sing togerher, she with her wonderfully pleasant voice and he with his more conventional sound. Together they were excellent.
Then something very unexpected happened. He began to see her in a completely different light. Now, instead of her being just a companion, she was someone to more fervently love. He found himself wanting to be with her constantly and she seemed happy with that. Now a trip to anywhere for whatever reason meant they both went or, more often than not, neither went. He asked her along every time he went anywhere and, if she wouldn't, for whatever the reason, he didn't either.
Now for the first person,- me. And I'll finish this later...

Later...
